Many people have to let go of their dreams and wishes due to their inability to pass IELTS.

Your task has now been made a lot easier by CD IELTS, that is Computer Delivered IELTS. In CD IELTS, one gets the opportunity of completing the Reading, Listening, and Writing sections of the exam on computer, while the section related to Speaking has the same rules (one-to-one with an IELTS examiner).
Although most of the preparation techniques would be the same as for paper-delivered IELTS. However, you might need to keep in mind a few things in order to be better prepared for taking the test on a computer. So, go ahead and read on to discover some fantastic ways of preparing for CD IELTS test in Pakistan.
Similar to the paper-delivered test, CD-IELTS has a time-limit of approximately 30 minutes that need to be followed. However, unlike the paper-delivered IELTS, in CD IELTS candidate only have 2 minutes to review their answers once the section is over. In addition, remember not to get way to anxious when the time flashes red, it means you still have 10 or 5 minutes left.
The structure for both the tests is the same for the speaking section that has to be done one-to-one with an IELTS examiner. However, the only difference in the listening, reading, and writing sections is that in CD IELTS the candidate completes the test via typing through his computer.
For the listening section in CD IELTS, you’d get the instructions in a box on the top of the screen. There is also a navigation bar and back/forward arrows that would allow you to move through the questions. Check ‘Review’ if you want to review the question. What’s more is that you can adjust the volume through the volume bar.
The Reading section might look slightly different on the screen. The reading text appears on the left side of the screen, with the questions on the right. The reading text can be highlighted by dragging the cursor over it and clicking on the highlight option when it appears. Also, the candidate is allowed to leave answers blank, or change answers, just like in the paper-based test.
For the writing section, the question appears on the left side of the screen, and the candidate has to write his answer in the space provided on the right side. The candidate can see the word count that appears continuously under his writing, just like in an MS Word document. In addition to this, you don’t need to worry about saving your work as it gets saved automatically as you write.
Furthermore, in a CD IELTS test, you can adjust the settings according to your preference by clicking on the ‘Settings’ button that appears on the top-right corner. You can choose the size and colour of the text as well as the screen resolution. This will allow you to adjust to what's comfortable for you.
Conclusively, CD IELTS might seem complicated or make you anxious, but in reality, it can make passing IELTS easier for you.
