AEO Conflict of Interest Policy

AEO is committed to fairness, transparency, and impartiality in all its operations. All staff and associates must avoid situations where personal interests conflict with AEO’s professional responsibilities.

What is a Conflict of Interest?

A conflict of interest happens when your personal, family, financial, or other interests could improperly influence your decisions or actions at work.

Examples:

• Invigilating or examining a relative or someone you know personally
• Having side businesses or jobs that interfere with AEO duties

Your Responsibilities

• Disclose any conflict (real or potential) to your supervisor or HR.
• Avoid making decisions where you have a personal interest.
• Stay neutral and act in AEO’s best interest at all times.
