AEO is committed to fairness, transparency, and impartiality in all its operations. All staff and associates must avoid situations where personal interests conflict with AEO’s professional responsibilities.
What is a Conflict of Interest?
A conflict of interest happens when your personal, family, financial, or other interests could improperly influence your decisions or actions at work.
Examples:
- Invigilating or examining a relative or someone you know personally
- Having side businesses or jobs that interfere with AEO duties
Your Responsibilities
- Disclose any conflict (real or potential) to your supervisor or HR.
- Avoid making decisions where you have a personal interest.
- Stay neutral and act in AEO’s best interest at all times.
