Anti-Bribery and Corruption Policy

AEO has zero tolerance for bribery or corruption. We are committed to integrity and fairness in all our work, including exams, counselling, and business operations.

What is Bribery?

Bribery is offering or accepting anything of value (e.g. cash, gifts, favors) to gain an unfair advantage. This includes:

• Attempting to offer or accept any form of compensation to alter IELTS or other test results
• Sharing, disclosing, or providing unauthorized access to secure test materials
• Using personal connections or influence to gain unfair advantage or preferential treatment

Gifts and Hospitality

• Modest, occasional gifts must be declared and approved.
• Lavish or repeated gifts are not allowed, especially during test operations.

Who Must Follow This Policy?

• All AEO staff, examiners, test-day workers, agents, and contractors.

Consequences

Anyone involved in bribery may face:

• Disciplinary action (including dismissal)
• Permanent disqualification from AEO work
