Western Sydney University Announces $3,000 Early Acceptance Bursary for Spring 2026
Western Sydney University has introduced a new AUD $3,000 Early Acceptance Bursary for selected postgraduate programs commencing in Spring 2026.
The bursary will be deducted directly from students’ initial tuition fee deposits and can be combined with scholarship offers where applicable.
Eligible Programs
The bursary applies to the following programs:
- Graduate Certificate in Human Services
- Graduate Diploma in Human Services
- Master of Social Work (Qualifying)
- Master of Teaching (Secondary)
- Master of Teaching (Early Childhood & Primary)
- Master of Teaching (Early Childhood)
- Master of Teaching (Secondary STEM)
How the Bursary Works
Students who accept an eligible offer from 1 June 2026 onwards and commence studies in July 2026 will receive a reduction of AUD $3,000 from their first semester tuition payment.
According to the university, the bursary is available to all eligible students and is designed to provide additional financial support during the start of their studies.
Student Support and Enrolment Assistance
Western Sydney University has also announced a series of enrolment support webinars to help new students complete important administrative tasks before commencing their studies.
The webinars will guide students through:
- Opening university accounts
- Course enrolment procedures
- Timetable access
- Orientation preparation
The university encourages students to begin the enrolment process as soon as they accept their offer, including those who are still overseas and preparing to travel to Australia.
