Western Sydney University has introduced an expanded scholarship program for international students commencing their studies in 2027. The new scholarship initiative aims to provide long-term financial support and improve access to higher education for students from around the world.

Under the updated scholarship framework, eligible international students may receive scholarships ranging from AUD $5,000 to AUD $10,000 per year throughout the duration of their degree, subject to maintaining eligibility requirements.

The scholarship program applies to both undergraduate and postgraduate coursework programs, although some exclusions apply.

Important Program Exceptions

Western Sydney University has confirmed that:

• Bachelor of Nursing students are eligible for a scholarship of AUD $5,000 per year only.
• Master of Nursing Practice is excluded from the scholarship program.
• Medicine programs are excluded from the scholarship program.
